Travel with children in Chania.

• Take a carriage through the old town of chania. In the harbor at Chania there are always carriages waiting for customers.After negotiating a price you can drive around for half an hour in a horse-drawn carriage along the harbor and through the old town. 
• Venetian model. Children do not always have a lot to do at archaeological ruins.But once they have seen the model of Venetian arsenal in the Nautical Museum in Chania they might look at other ruins differently and be able to imagine the galleys and ships docks coming to life in the empty ruins.
• Giant slide.The Limnoupolis water park in the west of Crete lies .Just take your rental car in Crete and drive approximately 7km outside of Chania.Here they have a giant slide and different swimming pools and playgrounds for every shape and size.  

Travel with children in Rethymno.

• Be a pirate. In the idyllic harbor of Rethymno, the Captain Hook comes in to anchor in the morning and evening.It looks like a real pirate ship and makes daily trips.Children (and pirates) with eye patches are welcome to come on board.
• Take a mini train. In many Cretan holiday destinations a small train ''trenaki'' in Greek, travels around between resorts.It runs on rubber wheels day and night through Rethymno.
• Visit Reptisland in Melidoni area. The children are excited when they touch real snakes.
